The Healing Place is a Faith base community center who are partnered with many volunteers around the City of Texarkana to make these opportunities available. They help all in need. The center provides GED Classes, Hands on Banking skills, Health and Fitness classes, Counseling for Individuals, Families and Groups( Provided by Licensed Counselors), Computer Lab, Job Training Skills, College Days, The Healing Place are partnered with Texarkana College and Texas A&M, They also provide Women Services such as Women's Career Clothing Closet, Mentoring, Women Bible Study (Monday) 5:30pm - 6:30pm, Pink Lips Class (Tuesday) 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Men Services such as Men in Transition Support Group, and Kids Services such as Tae Kwon Do for kids, classes are conducted by a professional Martial Arts Instructor. Tutoring and After School Programs. Volunteers are much welcomed and in need, as well as donations.
